Funny you zeroed in on Thorsten S's RS replica too. I think that the German's just know how to name things better.

RSReplica vs. S-Paket !! Love that term, S-Paket!

Great site! I would kill to have my car in Germany. I get to Aachen every few years to visit my wife's family. The country roads around & through the BlackForest are to die for. Talk about esses.

Cool S-Paket and Shipping stuff overseas...

Well, I was quite surprised about the term... S-Paket, too! Those 'early911' guys in Munich obviously found my hot-rodded 'T' with a lot of "factory" S options (sports seats, gauges, aluminum calipers, factory sport muffler, s cams, tube oil cooler, front spoiler (well...glass)), 'S'uspicious or something... ; )))
There is no intention of being a RS, though...
I like wide flares, but those slick hips are just fine to me... ; )))
No clue about those seats, customs is for sure an issue, my buddy for example was going to order tires in the U.S. for his Land Cruiser, but shipping was a couple of hundreds... -so no deal!
    Take it easy...

    RGruppe Deutschland Candidates...

I guess - there are really people worth considering out here...
I already met one guy really close by, he has a '72 with a 2.4 S engine/w. carbs, factory sport muffler --- and a lot of trouble (getting pulled over) with the 'trachtenverein' - "tracht" means a traditional costume/garb meaning the cops' uniforms... ; )))))
Those guys outside of Munich seem to do a lot together, their website www.elferclassix.de seems to be really alive - just like I know it from SOCAL.
They put me in their gallery already, as you could see!
I will try to hook up with them - and participate in their 'fun ride' program, that really seems to be a pleasure thing, but no unnecessary competition...
Even track days seem to be possible...
Some nice stuff out there - RSR like (Turbo) and some pretty 'RGruppe refined' looking cars should create some rumble...
We'll see how my 'S-Package' works out here...can't wait to fill her up with Shell Vmax gas, 100 octane... (5 bucks per gallon - outch!!!)
I hope, everything works with licensing in spring ...getting quite nervous, while waiting to pull her out of the barn...
