Thread: Memberships...

I post infrequently but will plan on officially joining.

I agree with the PayPal idea. My only excuse (bad excuse) for not joining so far is that it's inconvenient to mail payment. I would also venture a guess that you would also sell more merchandise if PayPal was an option. It's so much more convenient when you can take care of everything from your computer and have the money deducted from a bank account. The downside is that the 3% or so fee that PayPal takes would cut into revenues.

I know from personal experience on other online Forums that PayPal encourages many more people to give support. I've even seen instances when a member lost a house / possessions in a fire and a couple of thousand dollars (in $20 donations) was in a PayPal account for them by the end of the day.

The Registry takes Visa/MC and they charge the same. So, they're OK with that.

As a member here on Long Island a long way from California the Website here is invaluable to me. I would gladly pay my dues for it alone. Now that we have an East Coast chapter all the better. The PCA and 356 Registry accept registration by mail so what is the big deal? I do not see why one would have to have a paypal account. I am not saying do this but if someone who participates here could not long on, their check would be in the mail in a hurry. There is a good thing going here guys, Buck Up!

While this is an S Club many including myself do not own an S (RS and L ) Could things be adjusted to " Early 911 and S Registry " so others may see there is more to this than the S alone? Either way, great group of people and I am happy to be a member.

    Best,

    Don

    Don:

I agree, I am still waiting for my "E" to be done, but joined some months ago. This has been invaluable to me in learning about my car. The store of knowledge that I tapped into is worth much much more than the paltry bucks I spent to join. I thank you all very much!!!!

But to be honest, I have tried to get information on the items that you are selling in your boutique store, and haven't gotten a response. If you are making money selling those items, a bit of rapid response (maybe within 30 days ) would go a long way. I need to buy a car cover, bra and Registry deck badge for my car. But if no one responds to my inquiry, it is kinda hard to send my moolah.
