I've often wondered why someone hasn't come up with a variation on the Aeron concept for a sports seat.

It sure would be nice in the summer heat.

U all know I am a purist and like my cars as they orginally came from the factory...well I can tell you just by looking at the pictures of Sam's car that I absolutely HATE it. IT'S BIN MODIFIED, and as such should be relegated to the R Gruppe. It's so easy to overlook those simple little details that make a restoration correct and one that is well simply half-A$$ed. I'm afraid this falls into that catagory. Sammy I am ashamed of U those window cranks are not CORRECT for a 1967. They should for one thing have a hard rubber knob and not the soft plastic knobs of the 68's on. U might as well be using a Listerene Bottle cap as the window cank knob, it would look more period correct than what you have on there.

    Teddy,

I'm proud of you for noticing, especially since you don't own a 67 and 67 window cranks are a one year only item, but don't fault me for not wanting my original window cranks to maybe get lost as unfortunately some other items have since I started restoring this car, so worry yourself not, when this car is finished it will be 100% correct if it kills me.

    Beautiful car Sam!

Hey Sam, even with that glaring RGruppe bastardization of a year later window crank, it's still a lovely job. Especially considering what it looked like when you bought it from Tubs.
