    Calif early 911 owners: smog exemption repeal

    They are at it again....go to the off topic board and see the post by BERT, aptly titled "California smog test for old cars"

    So get your letters out to your legislators !!!

    This appears to be the key statement:

    This bill would instead exempt from the smog check requirements
    any motor vehicle manufactured prior to the 1976 model-year.
