    Legal Yellow Headlights?

I think that it was an option for Switzerland.
I know that it didn't go over very well in So Cal back in '80.... I was stopped three times in 24 hours on a night run from L.A. to Solvang and back. Santa Barbara-area CHP were headed south, said that my headlights "stood out like a sore thumb", got off the highway, headed north and followed me wondering "why didn't I try to outrun them?". Never knew they were there (not that I would have tried) until I exited @ the offramp. Ended up with two speeding tickets (Santa Barbara, Ventura) and a fix-it ticket (L.A.).

France 'used ' to require yellow lens......but no any more.

Guess they want to see where they were going as they drove....away.

Don't think anywhere lese required them, but thy may well have been optional in Italy and Switzerland, so save you the bother of having to paint your lenses every time you crossed the boorder.
