    That sounds like a very good idea to me. I don't think it would be hard to do. A good friend in Chicago, who is also a Registry member, has been talking of doing this very thing.

    What I would really like to do is have a car that I could leave out there in Southern CA for the several events that I want to go to now each year.

    Dave and I are seriously considering driving the cars out next year. The big problem is not the drive, it's finding the time for the drive - 3-4 days each way. We've also kicked around the idea of transporting the cars to, say, Denver or Vegas and drive them from there, as well as just transporting them all the way to Calif. So, keep us in the loop if you get serious about a group lease on a transporter. -- Curt
