Thanks for all the help, I e-mailed scott [ from the Parts Heaven swap meet ] and hopefully he will reply soon. Any definitive answers on the jack???

I can answer that one...you definitely want the pump handle style...meaning the one that requires the handle to go up and down, NOT the later model that operates in a circular pattern...

O.K., this is the deal ! As of today I am the proud new owner of a concours quality 1969 tookit. Where did I get it you ask? Well, I'm sure most of you are familiar with a gentleman named Scott. This is the guy who sells VERY pricey, very nice & correct toolkits on E-Bay. Scott will be mailing me the goods as soon as he receives my dough. Now all I have to do is take out a second mortgage!!!! Next I will work on the jack & those ridiculous little plugs for the rear bumperettes. Oh, and a special thanks to "Porsche Rescue" for Scotts' E-mail. Until next time, Ivs

Did you tell him the guy who quizzed him at the swap meet referred you. Maybe I can get a discount some time!

Porsche Rescue, my communication with Scott has been brief. I owe you one. I think even with a discount my family would starve for the next week, but my Porsche will be happy!!

I just looked up his stuff on Ebay. I saved a picture a few months ago of a 914-6 kit he had for sale so I would know what a complete one contained. Didn't know he was the same guy I met at the swap meet. His stuff is very nice. And,as I said, and you learned, very pricey.

It's funny you say that, I did the same thing a few months ago [ printing up the info ]. Over the past few years I have been searching for a correct & complete tool kit, I guess I just became tired of searching. Worn down! And yes I did get LEARNED
