    I think thats what Im going to try. I'll leave the battery box in place and see how hot it gets. How close do your tires get to the cooler?

    I havn't looked. I didn't notice any damage when I had the fender off so I guess its not in the way. I have 195/60 tires on the front. Its also around euro height.

    I don't seem to have any problems with heat. I havn't done any DE or anything though. On a trip I just went on the oil temp stayed around 180. Even when im running around on the back roads it seams to stay around 180.
