Greg D's 912 was looking lonely, so here's mine.

Thanks Rich. It's 6808- Burgandy red.
Aldo,
My (former) signal yellow '68 912 vintage race car - circa 1996. Sorry for the crappy picture, it's a scanned photo from pre-digital camera days. That was a fun car...like all 912's.

rich,
Nice 912. Is it still running locally in the Sovren races. It looks very familiar to me. I may be remembering it from 10+ years ago at SIR though.

Yes, it's still racing. I sold it to Jim Lovall, who raced it for a couple of years (he now races a 911 & a 356). Tom Flynn is running it now and I think he hits all the SOVREN races. Tom's a good caretaker, it looks as good now as it did then. When I turned it into a race car, it was a well cared for two owner Eastern Washington car with zero rust.

Here's my 70T/6 month update. Still working through some electrical issues. "New" Webers installed. Suspension is done, including re-setting the previous Paris-Dakar ride height. Rotors and pads are finished and the shifter has been rebuilt. Still to do: Tranny rebuild (2nd gear synchro).
Many thanks to this board for all the help with my projects.
Ulrich
Ulrich, very nice, the dark blue and shiny bits work well together!
