absolutely stunning! what a dream that would be to have. Showing up to events in that transporter would kill everyone! Congratulations on the purchase!

If you tell me the years... i could look through my photo library and see if i can find photos of the transporter, also i could look for photos and info for you.

    Cheers,
    Evan

    Hello Evan,

Many thanks in advance. the Bus is a 1972, 1317 base from Mercedes, 12 meters long... and other than that, its has some pieces like the front head lights that seem to be from a 356 o early 911, i could even say a VW... i will try to post som inside pics too.

    My 1968 911 Hot Rod

After 2 months of ownership I stopped driving it long enough to take some pictures. It began life as a 1968 911, but along the way picked up a 69 S block with 2.2 S heads, pistons and cylinders. The MFI is gone, replaced by 40 IDAs. The transmission is a 911/01 with indeterminate gearing. The wheels are 7" all the way around. All gauges are out to NoHo for cleaning and calibration.

In the last two months I've changed the Permatune out for a rebuilt Bosch unit and I am about to do the motor and transmission mounts. Also in the works are a 911R style oil catch tank.

I'll add photos of the interior, engine and trunk as I finish the work in those areas.

Pete Looks just as sweet in person. Nice to meet you and your family at Lewis's! Hopefully, next time we gather it will be for a ride.
