With the installation of the hub caps, I've sort of come full circle with my '71. The car was delivered new in 1971 with steelies and hubcaps but ran most of its life with 6" Fuchs and a few years with American Racing Torque Thrusts. It's now running widened steelies with hub caps.

    Curt,

I love the simple look of the caps. I was stationed in Germany '66 & '67 and that's what I saw most. I have a set of steelies stashed away to use on something or other when it comes along.

    Cheers,
    Jim

this car isn't new to the forum, but new to me. So far i've spent about as much time driving it as photographing it - 1/2 mile and park and shoot. Will do more soon, but driving it comes first. Name: tangerine.jpg
