    1970 911t 2.2

I purchased the 911T in December of 1971 from Norm Bishop Porsche Audi in Boise Idaho, Mick Williams was the Sales Manager. The car was originally leased to Jerry Moore, who was the advertising manager at a local radio station. The radio Station and Norm Bishop worked out an agreement to exchange radio advertising for the lease payment. The 911 was my daily driver, we traveled the western states and enjoyed Nevada before the 55mph speed limit. Back in the day the car was equipped with only a AM radio, so in the warmer months the windows were down, so the main source of audio was the music from the heart and soul of the beast.
When the 911 was out of warranty, I asked Gloria at Norm Bishop parts department if she would order me the 911 service manuals, so I could do the maintenance on my car, she told me they were not allowed to sell me the manuals. I wrote a letter to Porsche in Germany and received a reply. Within a week of receiving my answer from Germany, Norm Bishop was able to sell me the manuals. I still own the 911T today and have enjoyed driving and maintaining this fine automobile.

Great story, Dave, and a terrific car. All 911s should be born into hand like yours.

    Luv me some Gemini Blue.
Where may I get one of those custom 3.2 (or a 3.0 actually) grill badges?
    Thanks

Not sure as my car already had the 3.2 grill badge on it when I bought it, but would imagine our host must sell them.
