Well Chuck, my car is up on stands so no problem there (rim shot) Actually it's still at US height and I'm going to lower it a bit while replacing all the suspension rubber, struts and shocks.

The brackets looked to be in decent shape from Perry's pics. So Perry, any problems? The only thing I forsee is going through lenses but, I have an idea for that too.

I've scraped once and I learned my lesson very quickly....only go up and down driveways while turned, never nose in or out straight or you will scrape. I used to have a really steep driveway it never scraped till the day after my mechanic lowered the front a little from the stock height.

the picture on the previous post was of my left bracket, the right one got scraped once, and I remember feeling really pissy all day because of it.

as for protecting the lenses, i have a set of stongard lens protectors made which weren't installed when the picture was taken.
