    getting very very close

I've been driving it for a week now, going from my 87 turbo-look to a 67S takes a little getting use to, but I'm getting the hang of it ( it's only been about 25 years since I really drove this car) I drove it for four days with the 4 1/2's with 165 x 15's and switched to a set of 5 1/2's with 195 60 15's big difference in the handling, the paint still needs to be rubbed out as it's had nothing done to it since it was painted almost four years ago so by the time you guys see it in the flesh it will look quite a bit different

    Hi Sam

The car looks a beautiful as ever, one day I willl get my RHD 67S restored to that quality

switched to a set of 5 1/2's with 195 60 15's big difference in the handling
So which were better for handling? I am sure the 5 1/2s offered more roadholding, but feel and breakaway?

    Sweet car...

SWBSAM, maybe you will bring it to Ventura??? I like the plaid luggage in the picture.

Best set up I found for my (old) swb 911 was early 6JX15 fuchs with 195 65 R15's. I would like to hear what Sam has to say as well!

I am certain that the paint will be nice. Show me "Sand the floor" Show me "Wax on."

    Sam,

Take that beauty out and throw her into some good sweepers (hopefully with proper sport seats) ... you'll never go back to the turbo look!

Where can one get a cool bag like that for the rear shelf? Does it fit under the straps?

ok, lets see where should I start

Jack & John thanks for the great comments

D Moran - Love the license plate.

and it magically changes color, when I get to GAF it will be black and yellow

nick-moss - So which were better for handling? I am sure the 5 1/2s offered more roadholding, but feel and breakaway?

the 4 1/2's were ok around town but up on the freeway it was getting a little scary, the 195's are lower and twice as wide, I feel like I have some meat under me now, but since I also have a set of deep sixes I'm thinking 205 x 60 15's .

tabs52 Rubber Bumper pads on a 67? Hmmmmm

like many other things about the 67S that are special, Rubber Bumper pads are stock on a 67S

Shawn - maybe you will bring it to Ventura??? I like the plaid luggage in the picture.

if I don't drive it to the autofest people will think I've just been photoshopping pictures of someone elses 67 for years ( not that some people don't already think that) as for the plaid luggage if anyone is intrested porsche made 911 of these for the 40th anniv. of the 911 and they are still in stock, if anyone wants some at a good price , contact me and I'll set you up.
