    Thumbs up Tour de Autofest weekend

    Hello all,

    It's my turn to say THANK YOU to all the R Gruppe and Early 911S Registry members who made my weekend EXCELLENT! John Dilger for all his hard work, making hotel arrangements, and getting the parking situation politics smoothed out. Dick Moran for his generosity in letting me borrow his red Carrera RS for the weekend after my car was hit. Mike Mascaro for his masterful Routemeister and driving skills. Wayne Greko for making all the breakfast arrangements. Sam's wife Cindy who took care of the t shirt sales. All the R Gruppe members who more than willingly gave out of town members their extra 911s to drive for the weekend and right seats to ride along in. The guys that jumped in to help anytime it was needed. All you guys are a CLASS ACT and what the R Gruppe is all about!
    On the drive home my wife Terrie and I couldn't stop talking about how truly fortunate we are that we know and got to spend the weekend with so many real nice people!
    THANKS for all the kind words and wonderful support, I am looking forward to the next R Gruppe event soon!

    BOY do I feel like a dope!

    Yes by all means Thorsten Klein for his very hard and very quick work on the terrific art work for the T shirts. Talk about a guy that will do anything you ask. Thursday night two weeks before the event (my brain fade forgetting about shirts for the event) I email Thorsten in Germany and ask if he can do the artwork. He calls me back from Germany the next morning, he says he will "try". I GET THE COMPLETED ARTWORK SUNDAY! And as usual from a man with his talent it was FANTASTIC. He did ALL the hard work putting shirts on peoples backs this last weekend.
    Looking very much forward to seeing him this up coming weekend!

    Amazing Weekend!

    Not to sound redundant but, a big thank you Roger for all your hard work and didcation to this gruppe. Wifey and I had a real great time, people were great, cars were amazing and (Thorsten) the T shirt was a hit! I can't wait for the next gathering and drive. Anything I can do to help out, just ask!

    Well, this is my way of being a part of it...
    I see the rest of the shirts go quickly anyway... so here's a smaller version of the artwork for you boyz.
    Actually... there's another 'Thank You' to pass on - I got this done so quickly- because I had some help with the background from my lovely girlfriend Doris.
    And because she likes Porsches and she knows how much I care for the RGruppe she let me jump to the drawingboard right away that weekend...
    We can't wait to see you guys on Saturday!!
