    Ted Trudon

    From the '70 PDL . . .

    917/005/1
    Ted Trudon, Inc
    Route 83, Tolland Turnpike
    Talcottville (Hartford), CT

Dull white lettering on a dull blue back-round, flash-chromed, no maker identified. Handsome devil, this . . . despite moderate corrosion + tweaking + cracking/impact damage --- and apparently still attached/welded to the plate it was originally issued with, std CT pass iss + mo + yr of exp reg tag. Paint is remarkable. Anyway, stuff from the Northeast is pretty scarce, so . . . take what I can get

Frame is interesting as it inverts the usual city-on-top/Dealer-on-bottom format . . . apparently to allow clearance for the annual reg tag placement, in the lower right. Could this have been true for all 'pairs' of frames? --- giving one a choice for whatever tags/paraphernalia/etc may need to be accommodated?

    . . . ~1970

Dull white lettering on a metallic blue back-round, flash-chromed, no maker . . . pitted + ruined --- but snazzy, still. Plate is std MA pass iss, '67 - '70. Registrations were issued as windshield stickers during this period, then plate stickers from '71 on

My home-town. Dull white lettering on a blue back-round, flash-chromed, no maker ID'd

Note the odd-ball bottom-only attachment points . . . requiring a little creativity to mount, looks like. SK plates are all apparently straight numerics, year-of-issue, and this was the 1st year their plate was 'reflectorized'

    No details (and I asked . . . ) --- other than what's in the photo

What's interesting is that it looks like Canadian frames have the dealership's name on top, and the city on the bottom --- the reverse of the US format
