Please forgive the self-promotion but I've been laid off since February 2017... If I don't do it, who will?

I write about vintage Porsche dealership license plate frames in the current issue of 000 Magazine. A topic most folks here can relate to which revealed some really fascinating information.
I was so very fortunate to have several friends willing to lend me their frame collections so I could photograph them...after it was completed I had photos of almost 100 vintage plate frames. The package would have been minuscule if not for their contributions. Huge thanks to Rick Kreiskott, Don Ahearn, Jerry Murray and David Conklin... Please consider subscribing to 000 Magazine. It really is something great. Thanks guys.

Mark, that photo spread of yours in 000 is gorgeous. Was worth the subscription cost alone (well almost ). Keep up the good work!

Thanks a lot Bill -- much appreciated.
I wish I could take credit for the layout of the photos but that goes to Justin Page, 000 creative director.

    Anyone see one out there?

Been a while since I’ve posted some frames. A while back I overpaid on a Jack Mcafee frame on eBay and I have absolutely no regrets. I’ve begun to narrow my focus on frames to iconic (or at least in my mind) dealerships as opposed to just everything. Here’s a few of my favorites

Dull white lettering on a dull darker-grey? back-round, flash-chromed. Same 'double header' ID on the back, as seen on some East-coast dealers like Carousel, Cannon. Plate = std OK pass, etc . . .

Vacant buildings + a parking lot stand there, today
My 71 was purchased new at Eckhardt per the original warranty booklet.
