    Restoration Time!

It's finally time for me to take my 'nice driver' '67S and pay somebody to restore it for me. Nothing like being 'brand new Boxster' upside down in an old car.....!

I figure I will begin now talking to shops, but want some advice on who to put on my short list. Here's what I got so far:

    Gunnar Racing

Pro's -- Proximity (I live in Ft. Lauderdale and they're 40 miles away)
Con's -- They seem to specialize in mega $$ competition cars. My lowly baby might not get the attention it deserves.

    Made by Hand, Inc.

    Pro's -- 6 hours away, incredible 356 reputation
Con's -- To my knowledge, not much 911 experience

    Legendary Motorcar

Pro's -- Incredible work as seen on Dream Car Garage
Con's -- Canadian shop (distance) and 911 experience?

    Paul Russell and Company

Pro's -- Rumor has it they are the best
Con's -- Rumor has it if you don't have $200 to spend, they won't look at you. I have maybe 25% of that...

    Who am I missing?

Are you talking about anywhere in the country? Body restoration? Mechanicals? All? If you are looking at body, running gear etc... you can't beat our own Rick Cabell. I've only seen pics, but his cars look perfect. He's in the NE, Vermont I think?
