Thread: rs detail differences?

    rs detail differences?

looking at this picture (I'm at my office so don't have my ref books nearby), something seems odd. Why doesn't it have rear pop outs & the rear bumper / overriders look too short

this is picture with the 'longer' overriders

    RS Prototype

    James,

That is one of the very first prototype light weights. If I remember right, it had no 1/4 window mouldings because the supplier did not have them ready when the photo shoot was done. Note the different graphics too. Hope this helps.

    All the best!

I have a bumperette question -- has anyone ever painted them silver (instead of body color) so they look like the chrome on the stock, regular cars. If so, is there a pic you can post? Thx.

    Frank,

I'm confused (very easy these days)

I thought Richard Price owns #016 ... and is at Cantwell's for restoration...

Looking at Gunnar's web site... #017 has been going through a slow restoration owned (or once owned) by Dick Gundeck of New Jersey... Now that could be just another Gunnar project that has nothing to do with anything...

    Straighten me out Frank...

    Cheers,

Some helmets have been painted in chrome color so yes it can be done.
