    New Years morning

Yes , the Starbucks is better-- the Reel Inn is too much of a circus. Meet there around 9:30 to 10am? I will be coming from Santa Monica. Chris 70S R-Gruppe#144

    RGRUPPE Meeting Point

OK...I will take it upon myself to make it official:

WE WILL MEET AT THE STARBUCKS IN CALABASSIS AT 9:30-10am, with a ROLL AT 10AM SHARP!

Let's get a RGURPPE head count, AND...a vote:

Plan "B" or Plan "A"? ('B' being a seperate RGRUPPE route/run; 'A' being we tag along with the TRE group.)

I'll be happy to help plan a ROUTE if we opt for Plan B.
Roger - I'll be in touch.

    Ok, let's do it!

    Stacy,

I'm pretty sure by avoiding the reel inn we won't have anywhere near the number of cars from last year, also if we get to starbucks and we don't like what we see then we let everyone else go and do the run on our own, if we just gave them a five minute head start I don't think we would ever catch them on the road, even with maps people will get separated as some people just like to drive faster then others, as long as we make sure that everyone knows how and where to go for the ending I think every thing should be okay.

Please add one non-RGruppe member to your run.
I'll see if I can keep up.

Here's a potential route for a good run. It uses the Stunt/Saddle Peak/Piuma loop in the east, Mulholland Highway in the middle, and the Decker/PCH/Yerba Buena loop in the west.

    New Years Day run

Looks good guys! Just remember in planning your route there will be another group potentially coming head on from the other way. You local guys know of a route that you think might be less chance for "contact" with the others? Something with not too many blind corners and a little more open country, i.e. Silverwood Lake or Point Magu areas. And YES who ever comes up with the route, maps and instructions really are a must. I will be happy to have route instructions printed for everyone.
Let me know if there is anything I can help with.

    All the best!

Roger, I'll coordinate with Jack, and see if we come with something a 'off the beaten path.' There were a TON of cars last year, including the Yellow 'Porsche' (or whatever it was), that ran off the mountain.

At any rate, I'll email Jack, and see if we come up with a route, maps etc.

Jack, I'm sending you a PM...

Stacey, I seriously doubt the "ROLL AT 10AM SHARP" will come to pass. My dad says you'll probably be driving around in circles still looking for Starbucks at 10AM.

    We'll see you there ... 9:30am.
