Fog Light Bracket Mounting LWB

So, I got my new horn grill fog light brackets. When I went to mount them to the car, I found no apparent bosses that would accept the bracket bolts.

What are they supposed to bolt to??

I'm guessing the fenders (which have been repainted) were changed and the replacements didn't come with tabs. Just a guess, though.

Any suggestions?

The fog light brackets for the through the horn grille fog and driving lights mount to the battery boxes - you'll find some embosses with the hole in the middle of them when you remove the batteries. The long leg goes over the top of the battery box and a bolt is threaded in from the inside. The short leg of the bracket mounts to the front of the battery box, again, with a bolt from inside the battery box. My '73 had the holes, they were filled with a sealer that popped out easily. I used a split lock washer to ensure that the bolts didn't back out.

Hopefully the temperature in the garage will get up into the double digits. That'll make removing the undercoating so much easier...
