Thread: today I get a phone call, now my car is on the way to the L.A. Auto show

    today I get a phone call, now my car is on the way to the L.A. Auto show

    will wonders never cease, I get a phone call this afternoon and the question is, would you like your 67S displayed at the L.A. Auto show, and I'm thinking someone pinch me. it's kind of amazing how fast everything happens, next thing I know the trucks on the way and their calling me for details on the car. Gee I guess this year I'm really going to have fun at the auto show.

    Sam... don't tell me you haven't heard of the "we'd like to take your car for an auto show display" scam!!! Probably being unloaded in Japan by now

    I can't think of a better car to represent us to the masses! Congrats!

    Who has the keys? Did you check the mileage before handing it over? Did you remember to take your registration out of the glove box? Are they insured? I don't have to remind you of the European Collectibles catastrophe last summer...

    Whoever it was they made a great choice - from the pics you show , and show, and show.... your car is the standard.
    Feeling any better about all that work and money "lost" ?
