have a set of leather seat covers coming from Tony at Autobahn Interiors and thought i would repaint the seat hardware. can someone advise proper or reasonable substitue paint to use. also, the spatter paint on the seat back adjustment hardware. the seats are missing the plastic recaro knob for the forward and aft seat adjustment lever...any place to order? any advise is greatly appreciated.

I'd try either Pelican or Stoddard's for the knobs. Paint? Stoddard may be able to help there as well...

I assume by "hardware" you mean the bottom brackets...just use any semi gloss black paint.

For the recliners....essentially you don't need spatterpaint, as the finish is already there and intact, right? So, just spray over it, with a semi-gloss paint as well....

If you are going to take off the original finish of the recliners....then to re-create the spatter look, you will need some spray adhesive. Use that as your textured base, and spray over it with the black after the adhesive has dried.

thanks for the tips. i will not mention price but a complete set of leather covers, perforated , and with headrests covers was less really good i thought.Tony is rreally a good guy, it seems!
