    Eric,

    You are right, they both raced well. It will be interesting to see what Landis does next year. Will he be able to build on his first race as the team leader? I wonder if Ullrich will be more motivated to prepare now that Armstrong has retired (Lance definately has left another Tour victory on the table by retiring) or will he lack focus even more? Stay tuned......

    The problem now for Ullrich, Basso, et al, is even if they do win next year, it will be with an asterik ..... i.e. "but Lance wasn't racing" .... at least for the next year or two. Should be real interesting to see what does happen next year.
