    There was a popular independent repair shop on the West side of L.A. that routinely removed dealer plates and replaced them with their own. I remember a hook in their shop with 100s of dealer frames, not a few of which were Vasek. The shop closed about 3 years back. Wonder what became of all those frames?

    This came up on the 356 chat list too and I'll make the same comment here. Has no one else noticed that this vendor sells other licence frames? And they're only $20!

    Don't think for a minute that these are real Vasak Polak license plate frames.

    When it comes to the fool who paid $1200 for his knock-off, PT Barnum said it best: "My Jumbo the Elephant is the baddest elephant in the land" or something like that.

    VP stuff

    I just got a Vasek Polak china[?] pencil-paper clip cup for the grand sum of 46 dollars. It is beautiful and a treasure that reminds me of that night I peered into the Polak dealership- PURE JOY!
