    Once again, awesome photos. Are you the photographer in all the photos you post?

    Here are a few from my early days at the track. Not bad for a 9 year old with a cheap kodak.

    This is Road Atlanta, and according to the back of the photos, in 1983. Driver- Sarel van der Merwe.

    Curt,

    Of the 3 black&whites, out of the Keyser book, the second shows most of the Siffert stable of cars for the movie and the three mechanics who maintained them for him. The guy on the right (with the Phil Collins hair) is Hugo Schibler... Schibler wrenched for Siffert through his whole career including the first 917 USA effort with the PA in '69... though the CanAM with the 917 STP car in '71

    I saw and talked to Hugo about 3 years ago....

    Working in the engine room at Kevin Buckler's Racers Group in Sonoma CA.

    What an era, for those of you out there that lived it, and had the chance to talked and see these truly race drivers, it makes me keep my porsche,s for ever....

    That was taken at Road America '71 ...
    I think braking into turn 5 comin down from about 190...
