Hmmmmm….Well that's Daytona 1968, and Swedish driver Sten Axelesson was driving that 911 with Gregg... However the photo doesn't look like Axelesson. To me the other guy in the photo is ex-pat AUS Horst Kwech who was driving a Mustage for Shelby that day and did not finish...

Here's a pic of Horst at the Mission Bell 200 at Riverside around the same time...

    One hell'of'a driver...

Interesting - and many thanks. I wondered if it was more likely 1967 and the Transam support race to the 24 Hour? If so, Gregg was driving by himself. The guy next to him has a Goodyear logo on his suit while Gregg has a Firestone logo. Could they be driving together with that clash - or are they just standing next to each other for the photo? Many thanks again, Robert

Horst Kwech, boy, I haven't heard his name in a long time. I used to see him racing in Michigan and at Lime Rock in the mid-60s, but he was driving an Alfa GTA at that point. I think he might have been the Autodelta Team in the US back then, maybe with Gaston Andrey? He was involved with the Dekon Monzas later too.

    Sten Axelsson-Sweden

Here you go...Sten Axelsson did drive with Peter Gregg in 1968's 24 Hours of Daytona...

" The Porsche 911T of Peter Gregg and Sten Axelsson (No. 59) leads the Porsche 911 of Wilbur Pickett/Bill Bean/Bill Bencker (No. 36) and the Porsche 911 of Jack Ryan and Pete Harrison (No. 32) during the 24 Hours of Daytona at Daytona International Speedway in 1968".(Photo: RacingOne, Getty Images)

Sten Axelsson started racing in the 1960's with a 356 and a 904GTS and later in 906, 911's, 917's and LolaT70 as well...He later continued his professional career in Film and Televison photography...I remember Sten wearing a mustache as in the pics below..so I agree with Chuck.."the photo doesn't look like Axelsson"

The last photo is from Niklas Larsson's blog: "http://luftkyld.blogspot.com"...taken at the National 356-meeting, the tropical summer of 2018 in Sφderkφping, Sverige (Sweden)!...(Sten Axelsson in the middle).../ Lars...

Bruce Jennings drove in the 1973 Daytona 24 hour with me and Mike Downs, not Michael Keyser. We finished fourth overall and first in under 2.5 liter class.
