    John - the rally pic was taken in 1981-82 actually. It's the SCCA Press-on-Regardless Rally in the Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan. At the time, it was a fairly siginificant race although not on the FIA calender. The Audi Quattros ruled back then and John Buffum won the race. There was a Renault R5 Turbo at the race as well.
