    Those were the days 'ay Chuck? Almost an entire field of Speedsters. And the $2900 asking price
    for Dave Jordan's car is the same price that I paid for my '55 Carrera Speedster in '75.

    Jim,

    I believe Davey said that he and Norma agreed to sell the family car to afford
    to buy and race the Speedster a few years before for $3400.... He said they were very happy to have raced and won in that little car for those years and only take $500 loss when they sold it ...
