    64-65 911 Flywheel

I have a new early 911 flywheel , 356 pitch on starter ring gear.
Does anyone use this ? or should I have it turned and put a later pitch ring gear on it and not worry about it.

Save it for one of the 901-911 guys.
The folks who will need it won't know they need it - until they are doing a rebuild. Can't say they are rare..but only a few are available.

Most guys usually find out it is diffrent when they try to change out a starter and the 1966> have a different pitch to the gear drive and they have to find the 356 drive to match this flywheel.

They seem to be pretty rare. The little spec booklet says the last engine so equipped was # 901638:

According to MIT, "[The module] is the ratio of the reference diameter of the gear divided by the number of teeth."
