    Not an early crest. Looks like a later repop with some filler or something going on where the part number in the upper left would be on the later original. Also no evidence of soldered pins.     Wink Porsche Museum

    Since Porsche is opening a Museum next year, perhaps the owner should contact the factory, and Porsche should certainly buy it back at least for the following reasons:
    - They don't have a car like that
    - The American provenance is important to the brand, and a testimony of the strength of the US market.
    - Recognizing how Classic 911 have a large following today and the 911 community could benefit from having a prestine example on permanent public view.
