    Not an early crest. Looks like a later repop with some filler or something going on where the part number in the upper left would be on the later original. Also no evidence of soldered pins. I also think the "AR" script is too heavy. Course I could be wrong but, who cares. Don't mind me. I'm grumpy. I'm delayed in Rome with a bitch of a cold.

    Since Porsche is opening a Museum next year, perhaps the owner should contact the factory, and Porsche should certainly buy it back at least for the following reasons:
    - They don't have a car like that
    - The American provenance is important to the brand, and a testimony of the strength of the US market.
    - Recognizing how Classic 911 have a large following today and the 911 community could benefit from having a prestine example on permanent public view.
