    Hey, Frank. I hate to rain a bit on a beautiful parade, but that isn't original Houndstooth fabric on the seats. That is, unless Porsche created one fabric in the late 60's and then a different fabric in the early '70's. The samples that I have seen from our resident fabric Guru are different.

    This is a traditional houndstooth. But it isn't the fabric pattern that Porsche used, from what I know.

    I certainly read the number of concours that this car has won. I'm not making any judgements here, or saying that the car isn't grand. But, from what I have learned, and it has been all from this board and its members, the "proper" houndstooth looks like this.

    And that is from independent samples that I got from Eric, and Southbound.
