    Replacing Door seals

    Planning on replacing my 35 yr old door seals on my 911E
    this weekend. Is there any special trick or proceedure?
    Looks pretty straight foward. I have new seals from Pelican &
    a can of Wurth rubber glue.

    Any advice would be appreciated

    Replacing door seals

    Use a good general purpose cleaner to remove the talcam powder &/or mold release agent before applying the Wurth adhesive to your new seals. Also, make sure that the weatherstrip channel on the body is clean before installing the new seals.

    After doing your test fit, start at the bottom, glue that in and slowly work your way up the sides. Do the upper part last. Be sure to take your time. And no sniffing along the way!

    If you are uusing the 3M weathershield adhesive wear a mask - I got a 2 day headache after glueing mine!!
