    Nifty Website

Although pertaining to 356, the http://www.cyberwerkstatt.com/ website exhibits a high degree of creativity in demonstrating the operation of various electrical systems in those cars. Check out the cool introduction, and then click on switches within the site to see the flow of electrons - very nifty.

I build interactive Flash applications such as this for companies and if I had the time I'd be happy to do some free work for the registry. This can be easily done with the guidance of a knowledgable board member.

In fact anything you can imagine with the restoration of the 911 can be effectively illustrated with this type of programming. Imagine typing into a search engine "How to drop my engine" or "How to do a valve job" and receiving an in depth animation clearly illustrating all the steps. Given that a picture is worth a thousand words, animation is worth millions.

Flash animation is the future of how to. Books such as 101 Projects for your 911 will come with a CD so that we can see instead of read, interpret, reread, second guess, and so on.

Anyway, I'd love to contribute to the group but right now I can't afford the time. When my life slows down a little I'll be happy to.
