    I haven't driven the car yet (it is a couple hundred miles from me) so have yet to experience the rush of 110hp

    I would think (hope) that I could get this car for considerably cheaper than an equivalent condition 2.4T (which seem to be going for $20k-$35k these days). 12k would probably be pushing it though.

    I would go for it...all the early cars are fun to drive and such a low mileage clean car will always be worth it in my book. I never thought the 912 was really that slow...
