Exclamation Wanted dead or alive - engine case #6121036

The case from a 911 T/E MFI engine. Last seen in Denver, Colorado in the mid to late '70s. Needed to complete a numbers matching 911T I decided to keep.

    Paul, I guess I wasn't sure ...

Thanks execmalibu. I might be interested, but the real goal is locating the original case/engine.

Yes, it's a special car. Frankly, the car is always for sale. I've decided not to proactively advertise it as such. So, there's a list of things to do. First to finish the MFI installation (see this post). Longer term includes refreshing the 2.8L engine or acquiring a "proper" T engine. The latter would be way more valuable if it was the correct T engine. A long shot to be sure, but why not give it a try!

Greg, have you been in touch with all the Denver area independent shops to see if any of them have it or have had it pass thru their hands? I like the idea of you restoring the T, but I'm also kind of fond of it as an early 911 hotrod.

Yep. Emailed a few today, as well as the RMR PCA newsletter and classifieds, pca.org classifieds and Panorama.

This is a long term project. The T will remain a hot rod for the time being.
