    Engine compartment sticker-what year?

Does anybody know what year or years this sticker was used? Trying to help locate one for a restoration. Thanks.

A sticker like that is on my '72. Don't know about other years...

Thanks Paul. This is the one that go ordered for the car (BTW, it's an ST being restored in this area). It's clearly not the same. The PET shows on sticker up to 72 and then another for 73, we may have gotten the 73 version:

Bruce the one you ordered is for a '73 - this is the correct decal for '65-'72 models:

    - available from Stoddard's for $3-50 (part no. 901-006-504-01)

I thought the stickers for 65/66 had red borders instead of black.

Yes, Mike, the earlier (up to '67 ?) decals did originally have a red border.

Anyone know if they're still available ?

Thanks for that info Andy. I'll also find out on Monday if the red-boarder stickers are still available. Also have more info for you on the exhaust dimensions we discussed as well.

When the owner gives me permission, I'll post photos of this ST as well as 2 other great cars being restored, both RSR's.

    1966 stickers

    Mike,
My 1966 911 has stickers with red borders, but I've been told they must not be original because they didn't have any stickers in 1966.

That's really strange. I know of two 66S's that have stickers and one is original never restored.
