The PN 901.347.081.10 is a leather-rimmed 400mm wheel that was used on '69-'71 911S models & optional on others. It looks like it has been wrapped with something a 'gazillion' times and then covered with leather and you don't even get the cool horn button

It's hard to tell but it looks like the diameter is less than 400 mm? Bid to 400 euros with 10 hours to go.

901.347.081.10 is definitely a 400mm wheel - it looks smaller in the photos due to the excessively-thick padding on the rim.

I agree it is a stock sized wheel that does look smaller in the picture. Their is another auction posted above which shows the same part number if you click on the little pictures on the side. It is a 400mm leather wrapped wheel.
Maybe they are interested in the very early nice condition horn button?

I have no idea why anyone would bid 400 Euros for that wheel. It looks like it's been recovered several times. It doesn't look like a factory sport 914-6 GT or 911 Sport wheel to me. If it's the 400mm wheel it's the stock early 911 size wheel. Nothing special. Here's a pic of the real deal. A factory 380mm sport wheel, original leather covered, with the small horn button. Notice the short distance of the leather covered area that goes into the wheel circle where your thumbs rest...and compare it to the 400MM wheel shown above by Fryaards above...you can visually the difference. I'm not sure what the wheel picture in German on Ebay is...but I don't think it's worth very much. More pictures would help clarify it. Maybe this is another example of people overpaying on Ebay for standard stuff based on the hyped description. Caveat Emptor...
