Has anyone installed the R hinges I made up?

I've not seen the result of anyone's work. I just wondered if there were any that are in service.

    Zeke,
Some time ago I was in the market for a pair of these hinges, and my research at the time said that they were no longer available. is that still the case?
(Sorry I don't have any to report on, but I DO have an uninstalled 964 decklid for my 73 targa... )

    Zeke,

I bought a pair of these from a guy in the UK about 8 months ago and they look virtually the same.

I just bolted them on a few weeks ago to my R project body.

Pics below, sorry they arent too detailed.

But they work fine and the lid hinges up and folds flat against the rear screen.

That was my question too, perhaps too subtle...

Is there a good source of 911R stuff like fiberglass body panels, tail lites,
    windows, plastic passenger seat, etc.

I have a pair of just the hinges-no mounting screws. I have no need for them at this time. PM if interested. Still in ziploc baggie, never used or installed. Not sure who I bought them from however.

Gt-racing has the great quality parts but it is anything that Mike Swanson produces that you want. His parts include the R tail lights/panels kit, R door handles, front R turn signal panels. TRE is sells his stuff. I don't know who makes the fiberglass R passenger seat although VW dune buggy places have similar seats.

Well, since platas may have hooked up with the ones for sale, I'll reply to your request. Although this is not the correct forum for this discussion, there may be a 2nd batch in the brewing. However, I will not be involved with the sales anymore. The first batch sold out rather quickly (there were 24 sets). If you keep your eyes open, you will know when more are for sale. I say that in kindness, I don't want to be the promoter or the shipper, just the supplier.

Someone well known has inquired about handling the sales/shipping. Stay tuned.
