    OEM Door Rear View Mirror?

    I just pulled the driver's door rear view mirror from my May 1971 build 911T. It is similar in shape and style to the '72-73 rectangular mirror, but larger at 6 3/4 " wide and 4 '' high. It is part # 911731 013 00.

    Is anyone familiar with this mirror? I have always assumed that it was a reproduction since it's bigger than the rectangular on my '73, but the part # has me reconsidering. Stoddard and Pelican sell a rectangular mirror
    # 911 731 013 01 - is that the OEM rectangular mirror? Is it a successor to the one I have?

    Thanks for any clarification.

    Not checking numbers, it sounds like a 'mid-year' '75-'77 standard Porsche large rectangular mirror.

    Yes, the factory used these right after the small rectangle starting in late '74
