As an Owner of a light Ivory car I also would encourage you to think about staying with the light Ivory and, if you want a bit more colour than the "R" clone shown above think about some of the other treatments with stick on Vinyl such as a band of colour at front of the bonnet or covering all of the bonnet like the 1960's race cars or the Tour de France car shown below. It also has a lot of other signwriting that can be used to "dress up" a car if that is your desire. A further advantage is in most cases signwriting and such can be taken off or changed if you get bored with it or want the car more stock looking

    Nice Hugh,
I think the same way about light ivory: it lets you dress up or down your car as much as you want. The only reason I refrain from putting more decals on my car is that I don't like to broadcast my arrival - I just like to keep them wondering as I blow by....

Suggestions well taken. I must say that it really has been a struggle with the color decision. My first "gut feeling"...if you will, was Light Ivory. I painted Rich's 67S, and really took a loving for this color thereafter. It's no ordinary white and a color that IMHO, fit's on an older classic Porsche. The crazy thing about my color choices it that I'm completey on opposite sides of the color wheel. The dilemma is that I'm looking for a bright color and also elegance. With Light Ivory as you have stated, I can get both worlds with some colored Porsche script. Can you suggests some colored scripts that would look good on Lt. Ivory?

Albert Blue and Aga Blue are both stunning colors to my eye. I have seen Dalmation blue in person and it looks purple in too many lights for my taste. Of course, I like Sepia Brown too, so what do I know?

Man, Light Ivory has to be the first choice. I thought you'd thrown that color out. If you like Light Ivory, original is the way to go. Go with your gut, go with your gut, go with your gut...

    Kenik,

Sounds like light ivory is in your future.

Freddie- Everyone has a favorite, but I have to say that Dalmation takes it by a nose. When I first saw Dalmation, I have to say it is stunning, and not one that one sees repeated on other cars. (Nothing worse for a woman, to show up at a party and find one or more women wearing the same dress in the same color. )

Go with your instinct, your heart, and don't sway to popular opinion.

But then there is always Sephia.
