    Curt, are the Vredsteins "S" speed rated or have they introduced a "H" or "V" rated tire?

    Hal - they're H-rated, which I think is 133MPH or so???

    boxter03 -- I can't find a date, only serial numbers. etc. - probably coded into those. Is there a reason to suspect that Vredestein is selling old tires????

    sometimes some of the specialty tires can sit a while in the warehouses because of the limited buying audience. When I purchased mine I was sent 3 that were over 4yrs old and 2 that were over 3 yrs old. My tire installer told me to refuse them (they were delivered to his shop). I returned them and had the warehouse find me tires that were less than yr old in their stock. My tires will wear out from age before miles so I did not want to pay for a tire that old and they do turn hard after some 6 yrs (according to some research)that might be the life of the tire. I could tell the difference between the tires.
