    If the unit runs twin points and twin condensors does that not mean it should have 6 lobes for a 6 cylinder? (remember I am mechanically deficient)

    I am pretty sure that 6 lobe shaft is a 12 cylinder application. The 911 R/RSR lobe uses a 3 lobe. I would ebay the cap and rotor for crazy money on E-bay and sell the dizzy once you are sure of its application. There were not many cars that used such a unit. I have seen Ferarri dizzys go for $500.00 to $600.00. Hope this helps.
