    Automatic Antenna Placement 1972 911S

Can anyone supply information on correct placement of automatic radio antenna on the RH front fender. Any photos of original installations?
    Thanks

I have a fender from a '73 that has the factory hole for an antenna. I tis excactly where the hole is on the left fender of the other cars. If you need me to measure back to the hole center, email me and I will provide the info and perhaps a pic.

Are there any special mounting accomodations or could I just drill a my fender and install the automatic antenna?

    Thumbs up auto antenna position

    Steve & Kenik,

I have an original installation leaflet which details the exact locations for installation of the auto antenna - shows photos, measurements etc for hole on top of fender, under fender for wires & cable, mounting bracket location etc.
Detailed descriptions too - in German tho - but babelfish will translate it.

Can't access right now as am in Fiji - but can on the weekend. Let me know if still needed.

It is done this way on my RS. It is not the same spacing as a driver side manual antenna.

I have a leaflet showing the drilling spot on the guard for a 69T/E/S if thats of any help to anyone. I don't know if its the same for manual and auto but this is for manual.
