    The Green Hornet

Is anyone here familiar with this car?

I am registering for the auction and, if I can purchase this car for significantly less than their estimated value, I may go for it. It is offered without reserve and is certainly one of a kind so I'm not sure they have a really good idea how it may bid. Who knows, I might get lucky!

Any comments on the car are appreciated. Yes, I know, it is a 356 but it does have a 2.7 RS Spec engine in it and based on the photos, it is a real beauty. Please, don't be shy....tell me what you think.......I really need some educated, critical feedback on this.

Also, anyone from this group planning to be in Amelia for the Auction / Concours? March 11 & 12.

What do you think it will bring?

Anyone have any idea what the minimum bid will be. What a way to reproduce my first Porsche.

Truly, truly gorgeous. I would buy that in a heartbeat of I had the cash. I have always wanted a hotrod 356 A, and that is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. I think it should have a short stroke S motor in it though. A 2.0S or 2.2S would be just right.
