Thread: Early 911 Hood Badge - Corrrect Finish?

Thumbs up Early 911 Hood Badge - Corrrect Finish?

    Hey giuys-
Here's a question for all you experts - I recently bought, from 2 different sources, 2 "restored" orange bar hood badges. One badge has a shiny gold finish, and the other has a matte gold finiish, which I think looks better- BUT shouldn't the early 9111 badges have a shiny gold finish? Both badges show
    "901" on te reverse side.
    Thanks for your input -

What do you guys think about the ebay one- genuine?

It looks like the one in this thread: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ght=hood+badge
and I think the (eventual) consensus on that was it was real?
