    looks to be later 72/73 sport seat (because of headrest) without base (which is an issue). but it is worth something more than what is bid so far anyway

    I've not seen a Recaro sport seat like that before:

    - recliner mechanism on both sides of the seat &

    - visible splined bar connecting the recliners across the back of the seat (like a std non-sport seat)

    I posted the seat to the "for sale" section before seeing this post.

    VERY unusual seat! It has the recliner mechanism for the 74 to 79 seats integrated.... I've never seen one before! Great idea, wonder if it's a Recaro prototype??

    Too bad it's just the one passenger seat, I'd like to have a pair of those.
