LOL. So is every RS that was "factory built" accounted for? (questionable or known forgery cars go in the "+X"column.)

I'm curious where folks think the final price on 1020 will land- bidding has been pretty fast and furious so far.

With the intense scrutiny RS examples get when coming to market anywhere in the world I suspect such things are actually quite well tracked and called-out in the Carrera RS 911 360 xxxx vin world these days ...with errm... anomolies quite well investigated, discussed and documented ...certainly the RS examples are well researched relative to many other valuable 45 year old classic marques/models. Little excuse for somone to unsuspectingly spend loads of dosh only to get suck with a wrong 'un by taking the "if it looks like an RS it must be an RS approach". At times it is an interesting amusement to watch some ball of squished metal get reincarnated Phoenix like with stories of being historical important specimens but suspect now this sort of thing is more overt or quickly comes to light. If buyer chooses something like that or buys some example with a "story", then good luck to them. Transparency is something this knowledgable community has contributed to in spades.

    It's the old story.
