Lightweight Chassis 555 - did not sell Retromobile 2/20

This car, lightweight 9113600555, did not sell at Feb 20 Retromobile in Paris. The history is spotty with a full rebuild in Italy, source of some suspect cars. Does anyone have any history on this car?

Update - the car was pulled before the auction because there is a car in Germany with the same VIN. Seller now selling car as a "tribute" car and not the original.

Was this an original lightweight and non of those books are original despite being advertised that they are and what’s with the badge in the ducktail I thought no cars were ever delivered with that badge but all with decals

This was a M472 and M409 car, so Touring with sport seats.
The rear badge was used only on RS 2.7 without ducktail.

Bought new through Sonauto this Porsche 2.7 RS was delivered to its first owner in January 1973, a French industrialist from Avignon. She later sold the car to a professor of medicine. In 1984 it was property of Lucien François Bernard, co-founder and for several years the president of the Porsche 356 Club in France. During 1990 Jean Claude Miloé, a gentleman driver since the end of the 80's and Porsche collector and enthusiast well known in the world of vintage cars, bought this car at Sonauto.

This 2.7 RS is a matching numbers car that corresponds to its factory specifications as referenced in factory documents and also the book 'Carrera RS' by Gruber and Konradsheim. Built as 472 touring model. As one of the first 500 examples built with thin steel body panels.

This car has never been raced in any type of competition. However it experienced the thrills of speed participating in regularity rallies such as Coupe des Alpes, Maroc Classis, Tour de Auto and various road trips.

The numbers may "correspond" to it's factory specifications but the numbers on the engine are a new stamping and not a good one either. The pad boss is cut. Of note is that there is not ONE photo of the engine number in the ad.

Here is a known "REAL" RS engine number. HughH compared them which makes it easier to see the shenanigans.

0434 motor stamping. I have a couple pictures of re-stamped engine cases with the exact same font but no AT in front of it. My feeling is that the font used on those engine cases were stamped and replaced by the factory in the late 70's, may be even early 80's. I haven't checked what type of font Porsche used for the engines in like 3.0 Carrera's or even SC's or other types but would not be surprised if those are the same. Can't be a coincidence that that particulair font is used by anyone else than Porsche on quiete some engines.
