You are right Hugh, I searched my files and found the car. It was for sale by Thomas Schmidt in February. I doubt it was restored by Porsche, probably in Italy (Bologna?).

https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car...11/1973/293443
it is 0028 the only light yellow car delivered to Portugal
it has a couple of details that are different to the build specs - i think it should have a rear wiper and an electric antenna on the RHS rather than a manual one on the left but it cant be any other car. it has been for sale a couple of times in the past couple of years as well

'. . . Sold new in Switzerland, it was delivered 8 July 1973 to Mr Hans Wieser, who kept the car for 16 years. It was then bought in 1989 by Mr Scemana, also from Switzerland, The invoices for the work he had carried out are in the file. In 2003 the car was imported to France by the company Jet Set Car, who sold it to M. René Bouverat. Bouverat had a complete restoration carried out by the German specialist FVD Fahrzeugtechnick, the bills for which appear in the file, before selling it to the current owner. In addition to the comprehensive file of invoices, this car comes with its "Pflegepass" and the service book, stamped for services recommended by the manufacturer. There is a certificate from Porsche stating that the car was deliver in "glasur-blau 6666", with black velours and vinyl interior, with headrests for the front seats, radio aerial on the left-hand side, "Europa US Band" Becker radio, and storage space in place of rear seats. This is an excellent example of the * Touring * version, less radical and more comfortable than the * lightweight * and represents a wonderful opportunity to buy one of Porsche's most iconic 911s.
This Porsche 2.7L RS has been inspected by Mark Waring of Rennsport Classics Ltd who confirmed the authenticity and quality of this RS Touring. His full report is available in the online catalog or on request . . .'
